First Listing is LIVE!

Well, here we go. The first listing on Etsy is live. I'm learning as I go. Today is rainy and gloomy and the pictures aren't as great as I would like them to be, but they exist and sometimes I believe in progress over perfection. In this case, that's were I am.

The panel on this jacket was the first thing I made on my 24" Kromski Harp rigid heddle loom. I didn't keep great notes. I do remember the yarns were purchased from Tuesday morning and they just went well together. The warp is a single fingering weight silk and the weft is a variegated wool silk blend. I think the yarn was called "grace". I made two panels on the same warp. They've been kicking around my craft space for several years. At one point I thought I'd make a bag. But when this dusty lavender jacket came home from the thrift store it just came to be. Maybe the second panel will find a similar fate.

This item is listed with a "P". This is the 3rd jacket I have made using my handwoven material, and I'm still perfecting the process, so I'm considering them "prototypes" and listing them using a lower labor rate.
